𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒑 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒅𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒔!
The Radiant Spring Collection of Classic Coral, Susannah, Pages & Posies, Alouette, & Coralei as well as The Spring Literary Collection of Mountain Laurel, Blue Danube, Violet Vale, Simply Jane, & Morning Glory Gingham were both so much fun and a huge success!
Thank you so much for joining us for both of these drops!
𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒘𝒔!
This is the part where we usually go a bit into everything there is to look forward to! And we will. But first, some very important information about our coming collections and what we are facing with tariffs in play.
Unfortunately, tariffs are impacting our business more as the days and weeks go on with them in place.
I had an absolutely breathtaking Independence Day collection planned. Unfortunately, we had to pause that due to tariffs and now there will no longer be time to produce those and get them here in time. (I am however saving all of those plans in hopes of using it all at this time next year.) It is sad to lose that collection, but it was necessary to stay on schedule.
Additionally, we have had to cut back significantly on what styles were planned for the rest of the summer collections.
Below in the style menu you will see an updated list of what styles we have to look forward to in the coming months. Some that were there before are no longer there, but let us keep our heads up and be thankful for all the good things we will still have to look forward to, Lord willing.
Please join us in prayer that the trade unrest will be settled very soon so our productions and shipping can proceed along smoothly.
Now, some fun stuff to look forward to, Lord willing, in the coming months!
Without giving too much away just yet, here are a few highlights!
• We expect to be able to drop the remaining five styles from the Spring Literary Collection within a week- stay tuned for the official word!
These five styles are:
1. Morning Glory Gingham ~ Canterbury Dress
2. Morning Glory Gingham ~ 3-tiered Nightingale Dress
3. Morning Glory Gingham ~ Fairy-twirl Dress
4. Morning Glory Gingham ~ Boys’ Bowties
5. Violet Vale ~ Peplum Top
• We are so excited for many commissioned and some exclusive prints coming up in a swoon-worthy gorgeous line up of summer/autumn drops underway for May-September!
• The final summer collection is in stitching and several of the fall collections are already in the beginning processes. Autumn is my absolute favorite and- Lord willing, tariff willing- it’s 𝒈𝒐 𝒃𝒊𝒈 𝒐𝒓 𝒈𝒐 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆 for fall!
To end the “what’s in the works” news, here are four juicy hints about our next drop (after the one with the remaining items from the Spring Literary Collection)!
• A print that is topping the list of all-time favorites for almost everyone on the team.
• A Maria-made exclusive SCD print arranged in an elegant way unlike anything we’ve done before- two existing styles with an elevated twist.
• Our first 100% linen PRINTS in a higher gsm! I am so completely head over heels for these dresses!
• Are you ready for another solid in an absolutely luscious shade?
𝑺𝒕𝒚𝒍𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒖!

𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒔!
• The next full drop may land at the end of May or it may come in June.
• All of the prints in the next collection are coming in nursing, NON-nursing, and matching girls dresses!
• The next drop after could potentially be a very large one- the collection is now complete and the largest in all of SCD history- but we need the tariff situation to diffuse before they can be shipped our way.
Buckle up for a fun ride- it is about to go DOWN!!
𝑼𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆 on the pre-order for Rosewater Array:
Stitching is complete and we hope to have these dresses to you in approx 5-8 weeks.
𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒔:
• As always, all of us on the team greatly appreciate your prayers for energy & work/life balance.
This is a challenge for every single one of us, and we are often stretched thin.
• Please pray for wisdom in running and growing SCD and for the many big things 2025 holds.
• Please pray for health and healing.
• As you may have read in February, I have withdrawn from the social media side of the business in order to focus on some health issues, the design work for all SCD, and my husband & little ones.
We have greatly appreciated all of you who have prayed for my health.
• Please pray that we are a light and an encouragement to those around us, both in-person and online.
• Please pray for the ministries that SCD is blessed to support. You can read more about one of them here:

• Please pray for the tariff situation that is putting heavy strain on many small US businesses, including SCD.
• Please enjoy the group prayer thread for this month where members are welcome to share what is on their heart and we join together in prayer and encouragement for one another!
